Please see below a statement from John Horsman – Factory Manager at Totally Welsh, regarding very poor shelf life on milk dated between 12th June and 15th June
“We are aware of some reports of milk not reaching its best before date, with a sour taste very soon after opening. The main milk affected would be our semi-skimmed milk in poly bottles, which has the use by dates between 13th – 15th June.
The issue arose during our storage stage and having identified the reason through our effective food safety management system, we put an embargo on all milk in stock, and took swift corrective action as soon as we possibly could.

All our staff have worked extremely hard to rectify this very much isolated issue and we are confident that we have restored both quality and service back to our usual high standards.
